Peace Village - Education for Orphans

Peace Village is a community-driven organization dedicated to supporting some of Uganda’s most vulnerable children and elders. Their work begins where the need is greatest—providing care, education, meals, and stability for orphans, and offering safety, dignity, and connection for children and elderly individuals living in the slums of several Ugandan cities. With construction on Peace Village now underway, the vision of creating a safe, nurturing place where children can learn, grow, and dream is quickly becoming a reality.

The heart behind Peace Village comes from decades of hands-on service. For more than 30 years, Guy Bishop, along with his wife and children, has devoted his life to supporting marginalized communities abroad. Inspired by the experiences of one of their adopted children and the urgent need they witnessed firsthand in Uganda, they are expanding their work to build something lasting—an environment where every child has the chance to feel safe, valued, and hopeful. Peace Village isn’t just a project; it’s a promise of opportunity, belonging, and a brighter future for generations to come.
